We asked the Platinum team to update our home, which involved renovating three bathrooms and a laundry room, installing hardwood floors, and painting exterior and interior walls, among other tasks. All of the team’s work was high quality, and we especially appreciated the level of craftsmanship that went into the custom carpentry and tiling (which was likely made trickier by our selection of handmade star and cross tiles). was in need of a new roof on my 14 X 50 patio after a prior job failed miserably (a leaky, poorly done repair). In the midst of poor response times on phone calls, and estimate appraisal no shows from other contractors, Platinum HB were very responsive. I received a quick call back as well as onsite appraisal and subsequent quote from Larry, who would be the project manager and my liaison on the project. When we decided to go ahead with the work things happened fast. Three full days of work from crews who showed up on time and got straight to it. It took more time to get the initial inspection scheduled and final checked off done than it did for the actual repair to be completed. The communication throughout the process was timely, and I always knew where the project stood. Juan, the regional foreman was also instrumental in keeping me updated, with both onsite visits and phone communications. I'm very happy with the work, and am planning to have Platinum do an upcoming house repaint project. Two thumbs up! Thanks, Dave!

They removed major of drywall and did the worse work, the new drywall with smooth texture has many bumps, scratches and needs extra drywall mud to fill the areas. Mark, the project manager, was very knowledgeable about all aspects of the work I needed and we discussed different options - cement vs. pavers. A very easy guy to work with, and I consulted with hims about some other home improvements I am considering. Very knowledgeable. Anyway, back to my driveway. Jose and crew showed up on time and finised earlier than I expected. Apparantly Jose is a very experienced dude that has done public building projects for the city, according to Mark. Driveway looks great! I would absolutely consider Platinum for my next project and would definitely reach out to Mark if/when I'm ready to do so.

Mark is top shelf. We had all of our floors replaced. To say we found some bumps in the road would be an understatement (the previous owner apparently wanted to prep the ugly builder grade tiles for the rapture).The team was nothings but positive. They worked around our zoom meetings, took care of our furniture, and did a beautiful job. All our neighbors ask about our new flooring and agree it’s beautiful. Full disclosure, my son Devon (he's the best, you'll see) works for Platinum Home Builders—and I'm glad he does! He brought in a great concrete guy, and my old crumbly asphalt driveway is now an awesome concrete driveway. The work was first class. LASER surveying and leveling, the rebar is tapped into the existing concrete of the garage and back sidewalk. They surprised me by putting in a first class drain, too (existing drain line was fed by a simple hole), without me asking for it. The installer was especially concerned that the driveway would drain properly, and when the rains came everything was fine. Really a flawless job, not one thing I don't like. I enjoy practicing basketball on the nice back pad, and it's now a smooth drive to and from the garage, all 83 feet.

Our tri floor newish construction house had some major defects that allowed significant water damage from the rain.We’ve gone through quite a few contractor quotes, Platium Home sent Devon to handle the property, it was Devon that had me sold on hiring him and his crew. Sure some quotes came in lower, but I’m glad he was able to work with me in this.Devon was exceptional, always there to answer my questions in person and text. Hello,I recently hired Gil at Platinum Home Builders and Design to do retrofitting, stucco, painting and demolition work on my property. From the beginning Gil was very professional to work. I am not someone who knows a whole lot about constructions, getting permits and dealing with the city of Los Angeles. He handle getting the permit and getting inspection done. He explained everything thoroughly and in simple terms so that I can understand and he made everything so simple. When I had questions he answered them in timely fashion. He estimated that it was going to take 2 weeks to finish and he finished the work in about a week. His crew came to work everyday and were not loud and did a good job of cleaning up everything and putting things back the way they were. He came over the same day on short notice while I was in town visiting the subject rental property. I shared with him my vision of the project literally on a piece of paper and they turned the light “blue print” into reality without formal building doc instructions. The pricing was quick and within market. The quality, cleanliness, and friendliness of their sub contractors were strong. All inspections passed first time. Devon regularly took pictures and sent me progress updates as I live 2000 miles away from the work being performed. The team worked swiftly while accommodating my tenant’s schedule and even picked up parts/materials from local retailers that I purchased online to help complete the job. Our house needed some updating, the hardwood floors refinishing, and a remodel of the master suite and bathroom, including a build out for a walk in closet area. Our friends have said it looks like a hotel now, very posh and relaxing. Gil was always very responsive, and his tiling team did a really beautiful job, and his guys helped bring our vision to life. (I tried to put some before and after photos for visual comparison. The slatted wood behind the platform bed is acoustic wood paneling which helps absorb some sound. We added wood over the stairs as well as light bars triggered by motion sensors at the top or bottom.)

We had a plumbing leak that destroyed half our kitchen so we called Platinum to give us a price. They were the first company that gave us a detailed breakdown. We felt great about the whole process from the beginning. Gil ensured us he would stop by throughout the job, which he did, and his 3-4 week time estimate turned out to be just barely past 2 weeks. They weren't the cheapest quotes or most expensive quote, but their reputation and customer recommendations is what made us pick them. My day of install went smoothly, the team arrived promptly at 7am and completed my roof the same day. The team was kind, respectful and hard workers. This is the best experience I've ever had with a contractor and crew. Joe and his team are very professional. They care about the project as if it were their own home and spend the time it takes to get every detail right. We never wanted to cook or spend time in our old kitchen because it was outdated and cramped. Here was our experience: After interviewing several contractors, Platinum was the only group to really listen to our needs, respond promptly to our questions and help us understand certain concepts and terminology. They continued this throughout the process and were open to changes and suggestions along the way. It's a lot of work to build a new kitchen and there are a ton of decisions to make. We chose not to hire a designer and to handle the decisions ourselves, and we definitely didn't know how much there is to decide! Platinum went above and beyond in helping us with these decisions when needed and that was greatly appreciated

Chris went above and beyond to provide me with quality workmanship and customer satisfaction. I hired Chris to install laminate flooring in my hallway, kitchen and pantry.
